Don’t let Hemant’s quiet demeanor fool you – he’s fiercely competitive and a learned scholar to boot. Hemant believes that everything can be done better, which is why we made him the Chief Operations Officer. He manages our P&L, facilitates each team’s work by removing any obstacles slowing them down and budgeting for the tools they need. Hemant is also quick to identify new opportunities for our teams as we work, whether it’s team-building activities, facilities improvements, or new talent. But his main priority is keeping us all on target with AREA203’s strategy, mission, and values in our day-to-day busyness. He’s got a degree in physics, an M.B.A. in marketing and a Masters in software engineering – we couldn’t think of a better person to fill these shoes.

When he’s not obsessing over technology or thinking of new things to help us work better, Hemant loves watching cricket. In fact, he says his favorite day of the week is any day that has a cricket game on. Hemant has built a working replica of the WWII era Enigma encryption machine. And some day, when he grows up, he wants to get a dog.
