Jess Hutton

Lead Copywriter

Jess loves a good story, but she really loves to tell a good story. And as our only female copywriter, she’s more inclined to go for the personal aspect of a brand, the thing the consumer can relate to best. Jess writes and implements content strategies, manages the AREA203 brand, and leads her team in creating powerful, concise copy. With a bachelors in writing, and more than four years experience freelancing in Chattanooga, Jess brings a devotion to words and a unique ear for people to all the copy that comes from her desk.

But we have to laugh – Jess can hardly stand to wear shoes. They’re more often under her desk than on her feet. Jess loves Jeopardy and trivia, is known to quote Monty Python, and buys books obsessively. We want to know: does she read them all?
