Karen, our fearless word surgeon, spent fourteen years editing a quarterly, international medical journal with names and descriptions we couldn’t even pronounce. So when she came to us, we knew that her hawk eye would be perfect for proofing all of our materials. Karen has a degree in Technical Writing and Editing, plus experience in proofing tricky law firm lingo. She also spent more than three years as the executive secretary for the VP of sales and marketing at Coca-Cola where she provided support and feedback on national ad campaigns.

Karen is a poet and a wordsmith at heart and delights in finding people to share her daily poetry email subscriptions with. When she’s not performing word surgery, Karen can be found with the other loves of her life, her three Scottish Terriers: Pagan, Kyra, and Spence McMagic.
